Pottery Barn sofa and the customer wanted the 5 back cushions converted to 2 which would fit the back and extend slightly above and over the arms.
There is a zipper on each end of the outside back of the arms to accommodate the large round arms.
The arms of the sofa were quite pronounced and there was hook tape already attached to the sofa, so when constructing the arms I allowed for flap of material on the inside to sew hook tape to.
I chose to make a pleat where the front of the arm panel and the nosing meet, as well as the outer arm meet the front and the back corners.
