New scissors at 2006 Summit
Does anyone remember those lovely new-fangled scissors that were passed around at the Summit? Wolff, maybe? From their Kai line (possibly)? I remember being told they retail around $50.
I have one pair of Kai--I think they are a little better than Wolff but I like both. I also used to use a Kai rotary mat cutter--but I can't seem to get blades for it in the US.
I actually JUST found them! In my Wolff catalog, under Kai - is Kai actually their own line? I also like my Kai shears, but these are... special. *sigh*
Yes, the handles were black. The blades had kind of a brushed finished, not shiny, and they ripped beautifully. I can't remember the length. Are we talking about the same pair?

Thanks, Karen, but I'm thinking of a different type. They were Kais, though.
I know the type but didn't have the photo...
Someone wrote me and weren't sure which company we were talking about so I put up the pic.... of the green handle and then they knew.
Do you have a scanner De to put the photo up online????
they are my black handled sccisors that when you cut it feels like your are cutting butter. There is no comparison to the green siccisors.
