Slipcover 1 Day Dining Room Chair Workshop

Hi all.

We just recently had a Dining Room Chairs Workshop here in Washington in Sheila's workroom... Wanted to share Sheila's project.

We used DIY Method for our chairs of this type. Did a quick cut on half pattern.

Here's the back of Sheila's chair. Don't you just love it?

Hi Shirley,

I think that Karen is referring to the DIY (do it yourself) method taught by John French in his videos [www.frenchslips.com]. The fabric that I used was just a scrap of white denim, a bit of antique satin for the welt cord and some bone buttons dug-up from the button box. The front corners turned out very nice, similar to butterfly pleats.

I have not seen the tapes, so I don't know what he's teaching.
